New authors added to blog

Hey all,

Just a quick announcement. Added 2 more authors to the company blog.
Namely Chen Zhipeng Laoshi and Wang Zhen Laoshi.

They will be sharing their thoughts on the previous week's lesson, advice for students and any other training related snippets of info.

They will be blogging in Chinese, so if you start to see weird characters on your screen, remember to turn auto-detect on for languages.

More Authors = More Posts = More Content! (hopefully...LOL)

Ciao!

One Heart, One Kuen

*Update: All tickets SOLD OUT! YEAH!!! Thank you everyone for your support! See you at NAFA this Sunday!

Rehearsals are underway. First full dress rehearsal this coming Sunday.
Everybody's excited, albeit a little tired from the practices.
Just saw the printed posters and tickets. Looks good. Take a look.

Ticket sales have commenced this week. School students will be able to get tickets at a subsidized rate, courtesy of NAC-Keppel Nights. (Conditions apply)
Call 6296 8979 or drop us a note via the Contact Form for more ticketing details.

*Inside joke # 1: Chinese name for the performance sounds like something from TV Charity event right? Machiam President's Star Charity or something... lol.

The whole idea of this mid-year performance was to showcase the skills of all the students from within the KUEN network, while at the same time, provide an ideal platform for our Kuen trainers to show their professionalism, be it in performance or choreography.
Thus the name - One Heart, One Kuen.

Let us all pull our hearts and minds together and put up a show everyone will remember!

A big Thank you goes out to all students, parents, trainers, friends, family...and readers, for your support in this event. One Heart, One Kuen.

(inside joke #2: One Heart, One Kuen. One World, One Dream...
ROFLMAO....Sijin made it up... Muhahaha....)

KUEN's 1st Post

Hello World.

That was the first sentence that popped into my head after filling in the Title "KUEN Wushu Blog's 1st Post". Those who did programming will probably know where that came from.
"Hello World" is the first line of code you will probably learn to write if you learn programming.

There. The official KUEN Wushu Blog is born.

Took me quite awhile to figure what all the fuss is about with blogging but I did it. (shame on me for sitting on it for so long...)

I think there is already a KUEN Wushu related blog that is up and running called KUEN's Playground... I apologize for being so slow but I have never been on it as I could never find it or find out how to post to it.

To anyone who is reading this, especially Shen, don't worry about it. I thank you for setting up "The Playground outside the Training ground"and to keep it up and running even though you must be terribly busy with studies and all. Please continue to keep the community strong and the blog fun and playful.

While KUEN's Playground is as its title suggests, a "playground" for students and trainers alike, this official KUEN Wushu Blog is something I set up to help promote KUEN better. Seeing how little I know about maintaining the company website, I suppose the idea of a hassle-free method of posting to the Web did appeal to me. (I'm ashamed... I really should learn to write html... soon.)

There you are. Pretty long for a first post.

This is Chin, signing off.
